RedHead started in a bass boat in Tennessee, making boots that could handle twelve-hour days in cold water without falling apart. We got tired of expensive hunting boots that leaked after one season and cheap ones that destroyed your feet by lunch. So we built what we needed: boots with actual waterproofing, insulation that works, and leather that breaks in instead of breaking down. Turns out a lot of other people were looking for the same thing.
We’re not trying to sell you a lifestyle or make you look like you’re sponsored. These are work boots that happen to perform incredibly well in the field. The kind of boots you wear to check trail cams on Saturday and still have on Monday morning because they’re the most comfortable thing in your closet. We test everything in actual conditions—not just weather chambers and lab reports. If it works in a duck blind at 4 AM or on a farm in February, it’ll work for whatever you’re doing.

Orders are processed within 1-2 business days before shipment. Tracking information is sent via email once the package is on its way.
Items can be returned within 60 days of purchase for a full refund or exchange. Products should be unworn, in original condition, and include all tags and packaging. The return process is straightforward—simply initiate a return through the order confirmation email or customer service, print the prepaid shipping label, and send the items back.
Leather benefits from regular cleaning with a damp cloth to remove dirt and salt. A leather conditioner applied every few months helps maintain suppleness and prevents cracking. For waterproofing, a quality spray designed for leather should be applied before first use and reapplied periodically, especially after exposure to wet conditions.
Detailed sizing charts are available on each product page, including measurements for length, width, and calf circumference where applicable. Many customers find it helpful to measure their current footwear and compare those dimensions to the chart. Customer reviews often mention fit observations that can provide additional guidance.
A manufacturer’s warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. This does not include normal wear and tear or damage from misuse. If an issue arises within the warranty period, customer service can assist with the claims process and arrange for repair or replacement.
